Anyways,
I have never seen fw01 with LDAP running. What functionality does this dou
provide ?? Is it just an acces- List which is transferred from the Proxy to
the fw01 ??

I mean, we usually have acceslists for different IPs / people on the Squid-
or Netscape- Proxy. If an external / specified URL is requested, a Login-
Dialog POPs up and the user gets access.

Does the interoperation between fw01 and LDAP replace the feature / port
this feature form the ACLs of the Proxy to fw01 or how should I understand
this ??

Thanks,
Joerg
