As CAST tends to be 4-5 times faster than 3DES for most VPN's, it's
tempting to rely solely on that. Does anyone have a cryptanalysis
document or whitepaper depicting the technical merits of the CAST
algorithm over something like 3DES ad used in CheckPoint VPN-1?
