I am having a problem with Checkpoint FW1 4.0. At one point we had an Any
Any Any Accept rule and it was rejecting hits to our webserver. I
eventually figured out that for some reason the Anti Spoofing rules I
installed a few weeks ago all of a sudden started causing problems. I
removed any antispoofing stuff, and now I am showing HTTP requests to the
webserver are getting through. The interesting thing though now is that
while the http requests are getting through, the webserver is still not
responsding. Nothing has changed on the webserver and DNS is correct. On
Friday somebody messed with the NAT rules, but as far as we can tell
everything is back to normal except for that the requests are not getting to
the webserver. If I ping the server, it times out. I am letting ICMP
through for the webserver. Any ideas on what could be causing this or how
to fix it?
