When doing this at the command line, sendmail is probably expecting input
from the keyboard.
Type
sendmail -s (subject) -t (address) -f (sender@firewall) (dest@mail)
Type some words in , hit enter, type a period ( . ) , hit enter.
It should come back to the command prompt.

Subject: [FW1] Sendmail Alert Setup on NT????
Does anyone know the proper setup for Sendmail alerts on NT 4.0 SP6 running
FW
4.0 SP8?
I have tried this command at the command prompt;
sendmail -s (subject) -t (address) -f (sender@firewall) (dest@mail)
But when I do this it just hangs and I have to do a Ctrl-C to break out of
it.
When I look at my log viewer to see if it is dropping, I don't see anything.
Thanks
AC
