Hi everybody,
I was looking at "How is the Licensing enforced on Single Gateway
(FireWall-1/n) products?" on Phoneboy webpage and a doubt invade me... this
article say that section 2.5 of end-user license agreement (Jan 2000) forbid
using any device to hide IP addresses from firewall in order to
"circumventing the Licensed Configuration". Well.. I already knew that,
but..... here comes my question.. I have CDs from this years and this "2.5
Section" of end-user license agreement isn´t there anymore..
The question is.. can we use configurations that hide IP addresses from the
firewall, like proxys or something like that?. Where can I found a
checkpoint´s documents with a specific rule about this matter?
Thanks,
Alonzo.
