FW-1 4.1 SP2 running on Win2k SP1. SpeedStream DSL router.
I have static NAT configured for the mail server which also runs a
web-based email service. NAT and the policy are configured just fine to
allow inbound SMTP and HTTP. SMTP inbound is functional, however,
inbound HTTP requests for URLs with graphics fail to load. A battery of
tests has shown that the value of the TCP maximum segment size (MSS)
of the Ethernet interface of the router is inappropriately set, or in Windows
2000.
Has anyone successfully modified the MSS on NT running FW-1?
Issues pertaining to the modification?
