Mike,
I am with you here. I find it absurd that I have to pay a yearly
subscription for software updates after I have spent a lot for the license
in the first place - especially given how strict Checkpoint are with their
licensing. It is not like there would be a lot of pirate FW-1 SW going
around (or am I being naive here?). I am sure even if there is, it is much
less prevailant than other sw such as MS products, and all their SPs are
free.
