Hello,
I've installed CP NG on a Solaris8 box, but I couldn't connect with the new
policy editor to the firewall. The management station is correctly entered
as a gui client and username password are verified, but the only message I
get is something like "please check that the firewall is running".
Maybe this hangs together with some strange messages in the fw log:
fwauthd: cannot run server in.asessiond: Authentication Services are
unavailable. Connection refused.^M
fwauthd: cannot run server in.aufpd: Authentication Services are
unavailable. Connection refused.^M
fwauthd: cannot run server vpnd: Authentication Services are
unavailable. Connection refused.^M
fwauthd: cannot run server mdq: Authentication Services are
unavailable. Connection refused.^M
??
I've checked everything but can't find a clue :-(
