Hi there folks,
I am trying to find out if there is a way to force Windows 95 to release
its DHCP address on shutdown (for users moving from the LAN to a remote
site where they will use the VPN client).
There are instructions in MS's knowledge base for Windows NT, and Win98
(http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q217/0/35.ASP)
But i can't find anything for Win95. Because it doesn't have ipconfig
(only winipcfg), i don't even seem able to go as far as scripting it.
I'm sure there is a quick an easy solution to this problem (a registry key
like the one for Win98 above?)... can someone please help?
Thanks in advance,
-jonny
