I am getting some errors in my event log but everything seems to be workin
fine. I am running W2K and I have changed the name of the interfaces during
the install of the OS to (for example) External
The errors that come up is this magic number thing..? Like I said things
seem to be working but this bothers me a bit. In NT it has an interface
name of "E100B3" (for example) and the W2K interfaces are named "Local Area
connection" I have changed this to "external". Can anyone help me on this
issue on how to clear this up? Below is a what happen when I install a
policy. Works but says this. (the External.if does have the correct
interface name in it. (external)). Thanks in advance...
this error is in the application error log....above...
