I installed Secure Remote 4185 onto a laptop that
has two configs, Docked/Undocked, one NIC for the
doc station, (LAN USE) and the other NIC (DSL USE)
in laptop slot.
When I installed SR, I could not perform any WINS
resolutions at all. DNS works fine, but no luck with
WINS. Client is set to use DHCP, tried adding entries into
LMHost, adding WINS address manually and giving the machine
a static address,,NOTHING.
The client cannot logon to the domain or browse any machine
by resolving with WINS.
Does anyone have any insight that they can provide here?
