NG and Provider-1 are very differnet.. P1 is a mgmt for large/diverce installs of fw1. NG is the most recent release of fw1. here is the CP link on P1 http://www.checkpoint.com/products/management/provider-1.html and here is the latest info for NG http://www.checkpoint.com/products/fp1/index.html
