Hi Padraic,

I think these are great ideas for web service consumer components for
the framework! I'm not particularly familiar with how exchange rates
might be done, but I think both services are very much worth further
discussion and exploration.

Provided that others would also support these ideas, I think these will
be good candidates for web service component proposals.

In the meantime you may wish to learn more about how to contribute to
the framework in general and how to do component proposals. Here are
