Hy,   Out of curiousity, does this impact ISO-8859-1 characters of á, é, ó or í? Feel free to tell the lazy sod to go find out himself if unsure :). As you can see within the reference I sent you all these characters are supported within the ISO 8859-1 charset. When you are not getting these characters returned by Zend_Search_Lucene this would mean that   .) Zend_Search_Lucene is not supporting or recognising ISO-8859-1 or .) The Lucene web service is not supporting or recognising ISO-8859-1   Greetings Thomas
