I'm currently toying with Template Lite and ZF - not hard to use them together really. Since Template Lite is the main template engine I'm using for projects as a Smarty replacement I'd support the inclusion. I'll wait for Mark's decision and let him know in case he has grunt work he wouldn't mind delegating. From my reading of the code, a pure PHP5 port would not be very difficult - mostly updating syntax and a few overview design issues to take advantage of PHP5's OO model.
