Hy,

André, are you still planning a Zend_Utf8 class with different 
functionality than the UTF8 helper class for Zend_Locale*?

It would be good, if andré can finish the Locale_UTF8 class and afterwards 
the Translation TMX integration.
As this are core-features I would think it has higher priority as the 
completion of Zend_UTF8.

Zend_UTF8 is accepted as labratory class. But it will extend all functions 
from Zend_Locale_UTF8.
Should we anyway double the code or should we only extend the existing 
Zend_UTF8 class ?

I think doubling is better, because then we can differ between internal used 
and userland labratory class.

I think andré will also finish the UTF8 class... the question is only "when" 
;-)
If he completes the UTF8 class before we could get in trouble with the 
release of Zend_Translate.
