Maildir and IMAP have some similar features (folders, flags) so that's a reason why I started the maildir class. If I have more than one mail storage I don't write something that doesn't work for an other. The next thing is getting IMAP feature wise on the same level as mbox and pop3 (list, fetch) and create Zend_Mail_Imap as wrapper around the transport class.

I don't know if you had time to look at the current transport class, but it has already a decent IMAP parser and is able to login (including TLS as with POP3).

I do have more time now to write the mail read stuff as we finally launched the project we worked on the last 3 months. I can't promise when I'm finished with my work but I do my best to get the next goal finished this month.

Hi Nico,

Was thinking about you this morning in the shower... Don't be alarmed, not in the sexual way. It's just what I do when I wake up and go over my day....

Anyway, was meaning to ask you about Zend_Imap ... Have you got plans to start implementing this little sausage? Please say if you need any help, perhaps you can direct me and I can code this?

Kind regards,
Peter Pistorius
