Hi there,

We are looking into slightly refactoring Zend_Filter to be a bit more
convenient. We think in its current state it's not as good as it can get and
somewhat missing the "Extremely Simple" approach.
Once we get 0.6 released (should be mid-December) we'll look into writing a
proposal for changing Zend_Filter. We'll take this patch and request into
account for that.
