We are on schedule for a code freeze on Wednesday 1/17/2007, to prepare
for making the release for Zend Framework Preview Release 0.7.0. That's
six calendar days from now.
The time of the code freeze will be 9:00pm Pacific time (midnight
Eastern time).
We are seeing some great new code in the Zend Framework subversion
repository. There will be a lot of activity over the next few days, as
several features are finished.
Here are the components we intend to see moved from incubator to the
core library in this release:
- Zend_Acl
- Zend_Auth
- Zend_Cache_Backend_ZendPlatform
- Zend_Date
- Zend_Http_Client_Adapter_Proxy
- Zend_Locale
- Zend_Measure
- Zend_Session
Here are some new components we intend to see in the incubator in this
release:
- Zend_Currency
- Zend_Memory
- Zend_Translate
There have also been improvements to many other components, including
Zend_Controller, Zend_View, Zend_XmlRpc_Server, Zend_Search_Lucene,
Zend_Mail, Zend_TimeSync, and Zend_Gdata.
