Hi,

We have released Zend Framework 0.7.0 and the code freeze is now lifted.
We'll be planning the ZF 0.8 release over the next couple of days.
Right now ZF 0.8 appears to have the following objectives:
- finish new Zend_Filter/Zend_Validate, promote to core (Darby et. al.)
- finish Zend_Auth, add adapters, promote to core (Darby, Ralph, others)
- finish Zend_Translate, promote to core (Alexander, Thomas)
- finish Zend_Console_Getopt, promote to core (Bill)
- finish Zend_Mail/Zend_Mime, fix bugs, promote to core (Matthew, Nico)
- work on server components (Matthew)
- new implementation of Zend_Log (Mike)
- sundry improvements and bug fixes to other components
- enhancements and bug fixes in Zend_Db (Bill)

Let me just say "thank" you to all the hard-workin' folks, both within Zend and without, that continue to contribute relentlessly to the Zend Framework, resulting in this amazing open source project that anyone & everyone can benefit from. Your efforts are not wasted on us, and though some of us (*cough cough*) would love to contribute more, we can rest assured that, even if that is not the case, there are individuals that will continue the work in our stead.

Keep up the good work, ZFers!
