Perhaps :
www.php.net/null :
The special NULL value represents that a variable has no value.

So if $foo is instanciate whith $foo=NULL, $foo has no value, but if
$foo is intanciate with $foo=false, $foo has a value and this value is
false......

I will expose the pb to eAccelerator dev team, and post there
conclusions here.
