Hy Teemu,
there will always be exotical date formats which are not supported by
Zend_Date.
Principal Zend_Date can be extended by yourself.
If you think these date formats are a need and have to be integrated you are
free to add an jira issue and start asking the community for pro/contra
integration.
Just to be sure:
Every feature we integrate will also slow the code some micro/milliseconds.
