I do some of this in my current applications. Not so much to tell what 
browser a user is using, but to see if they are on a PDA/Cell Phone (for 
which I serve a different, lighter, version of the site...which I plan 
to do with alternate views when we re-write in ZF). Is there currently 
any sort of proposal or issue for people to comment on?
