are you suggesting contacting ZF development team, or the two other
developers of similar libraries and try to set-up
a workgroup, if the latter, I'm not inclined to this path.
Having a central place in Zend lab, might be the good way.

Personally for forms id like to see RAD forms abilities from
Zend_DB_Table structures. Javascript builders would be nice,
especially to build video plugin modules on the fly.
