I guess regarding the subject ("difference") he wants to knw how many
month there are between two dates.
Like how many month they are between 5/7/02 and 11/4/06
But he wrote in his text that he want to know the month of 2 different
dates.
And with "toValue" you can do this calculation yourself...
Or, if you are in need of a second-exact month value you can also use
Zend_Date->subIso or Zend_Date->subDate
However, as you see there are many different ways to archive this.
Just take a look into the Docu of Zend_Date. It will fit your needs.
