No, there is no plan currently to support savepoints in Zend_Db.

Honestly most PHP developers have never used explicit transactions at all, and 
rely on autocommit in 99% of cases.  Savepoints is really an advanced use case.

Is there any plan to add support to the SAVEPOINT and ROLLBACK TO SAVEPOINT syntax in Zend_Db ? I looked for this in the list archive and the wiki but didn't find anything.
