I have other experiences with this. Zend Studio always messes up my
UTF-8 files. On the other hand UEStudio has a nice feature to convert
the charsets from one to another.
But that's just my experience.
One note is to be carefull with UTF-8 bom's that some editors might
prepend to your files, as this could inject unwanted characters into
your output.
