The Zend Framework default project structure proposal is ready for review at http://framework.zend.com/wiki/x/6KM. Please note that this would be the project structure created by default for any tool using Zend_Build, including the ZF CLI. Other project profiles may be specified for Zend_Build to meet the requirements at hand. The default project structure will not be necessary for the proper functioning of the app at runtime or for any tool using Zend_Build, but it will both simplify the ZF tools in the most common use cases and represent the ZF community's recommendations for the best project structure in an environment where the user has the ability to configure the web server. Also, I'd like to remind everyone that Zend_Build and Zend_Console are also ready for review. I would greatly appreciate your feedback on these proposals as we're really putting forth something much more powerful than any tooling system provided with any other framework AFAIK; there is simply no existing, pre-vetted model on which we can base our work. So please help us catch the gotcha's before they get us. :) Ralph Schindler and I are working hard to get the first versions of these tools in to the community's hands as soon as possible. I will post to this list when they are available in the incubator for evaluation.
