Of course, as I just realized, looking at my dev environment, it could
be related to xdebug. ^_^
Still, isn't it a bit odd to go this far above memory limits, even
with xdebug enabled, just by starting a new Zend_Layout MVC instance?
The default memory limit was raised to 16M in PHP 5.2.0 (well that's what I
have as default in RC7 anyway) and 128M in PHP 5.2.1. So basically the
problem's invisible to anyone with a copy of current stable PHP.
I can't comment on the ZF codebase, but it should be mentioned that the
reason the default memory limit was increased was that people were starting
to hit it consistently when running applications.
