I am considering to use Zend for an electronic medical record application. I will be needing a secure application with authentication, authorization, storing XML in the database, encryption of data, and internationalization. Originally I was going to do coding by "hand" without any framework but would like to know if Zend has all the necessary tools that I need that would scale in an enterprise setting.
