I don't know if it's a good idea to get rid of cookies or not. I'm going to adapt my whole system to sessions because everything stays server-side. The problem is that the sessions stay in the session folder after they expire, should I forcibly remove them, or do they remove themselves?
I honestly need some heads up for this, in matter of security tips and what not to do. Technically I'm not very familiar with sessions because I always heard it was a not so secure way to store credentials and important information. The Zend Framework examples makes it look much easier to use with the adaptation and introduces new ways to retrieve and put data, which is the reason I'm going for it, but I'm still a little doubtful.
