It's an edge case at best, a 30 second task for Google, or a 10 second task to copy and pasting from an existing code base. Regular expressions for URL validation are not in short supply. And then recognize the fact that Zend_Uri isn't aware of anything in the Zend_Route* stuff, so where is the reuse exactly?
