Moreover, i've found that it fails when you specify the year.... i'm digging
into the code to see if i can find this issue.
Try this code
$d = new Zend_Date();
$d->setDay(1);
$d->setMonth(1);
$d->setYear(1977);
Try the code with and without the last line (setYear). In my setup is
throwing the warning againg when i uncomment $d->setYear(1977);
