Hi Matthew, Thanks for the response (and for Zend_Form... but thats a different point).
We do indeed use XCache on the server becasue we were having some performance problems that it helped with. Clearing an error of this kind by restarting Apache caused me the most confusion. But your suggestion makes perfect sense? So do you think XCache having problems with Zend_Loader? Or is spl_autoload having the problem? I realise this is out of the scope of the framework... I am simply using autoload to included the classes. Does anyone know how I might resolve this problem? Surely a number of people use opcode cache.
