Yes, I already had a look at Magento. It's based on ZF but still hard to understand and probably to modify. That's why I though it'd be better to build my own that would really fits into my current site. Although what I need is not multiple shops: it's onw shop with multiple vendors (restricted to 4 products each) and one superadmin.
