You have three options:

  * Create a dojo build to use. This is pretty easy -- simply go into the
    util/buildscripts/ subdirectory of the dojo install, and run the
    build_release.sh script. This will create a proper release for you
    under the release/ directory. Alternately, create your own build
    profile and create your own custom build.
  
  * Use the CDN
  
  * Download a release package from Dojo

I'm researching the issue to ensure that the Dojo shipped with 1.6.1
will work correctly.
