Hi! I'm using Zend Framework 1.6.2 and Zend_Search_Lucene for search. And I have problem with search performance. About index: * search index is ~25MB in size * search index contains ~7350 documents * index is in UTF8 * index is optimized (with optimize())
At first - index creation takes very long time. To rebuild full index it takes more than hour. But that is only half of pain, because - how often do we need to make full rebuild of index? :) The main problem is search performance. Very simple search takes about 8 seconds on my hosting server. Example of simple search: $term = 'Riga'; Zend_Search_Lucene::setResultSetLimit(150); $index = My_Search_Lucene::open(self::$config->lucene->dir); $query = Zend_Search_Lucene_Search_QueryParser::parse($term, 'utf-8'); $results = $index->find($query); The question is - how I can locate where is the problem of index?
