No effect... I'm pretty sure the .htaccess file is totally transparent to the Apache server whereas the httpd.conf and php.ini files seem quite normal. Anyway, the Oracle DBA decided to use a more standard solution : Apache + PHP with Zend without Oracle packaging. I hope this issue will be resolved by the same way.
