That's what I need, which is why I was trying to call it within the loop
shutdown. How would I go about replicating this functionality? Adding to the
view, only at the end, when all controllers have ran.

I would say in postDispatch() check $request->isDispatched()(I believe
$request->isDispatched() returns true and only true if all actions have been
dispatched, not sure though)
