*If* you want to place the class in your library folder, it's better to do it in a logical place. Create the folder /library/MyApp/Controller/Action/ and create inside the folder a Abstract.php. The class you need to create is an abstract class MyApp_Controller_Action_Abstract. Extend your IndexController with MyApp_Controller_Action_Abstract and it will work (of course you need to configure the Autoloader to find the namespace MyApp).
