Well MarkItUp is a different editor. While TinyMCE is a wysiwyg editor, MarkItUp implies you have knowledge of the markup language.
I can't expect all my visitors know html or the wiki syntax. While MarkItUp has a fast and simple interface, for advanced editing TinyMCE is imho better.
