Can you send your bootstrapping information, please? Also, are you using something such as ActionStack or the action() view helper? It's possible the issue is in one of these. I have a few different sample apps I run on latest trunk to identify issues such as these, and have not noticed any problems as of yet -- it's likely in your configuration, but the fact that the same app works in 1.8.2 but fails in 1.8.4 is likely indicative of a regression as well. However, neither Ralph nor myself have enough information whatsoever to work off of.
