All my devs have their own environments on their own computers. All the webservers are available via the network, so I can quite easily go to http://dev1.local/jobnumber and see the current state of the site easily enough. We do the same when they work at home too.
So dev1 corresponds to a one developer? So each developer's local webserver(s) is available via the network.

How are you resolving dev1.local to each developers local machine?
