Node is on my list of technologies to investigate in the coming weeks.
That said, Node is... JS, not PHP. It can invoke a PHP process, or act
as a proxy to a server running PHP, however, and the important thing
there is that we ensure our Request object is capable of getting what it
needs from any given web server, so that the appropriate code is
executed.
