No, Zend\Tool is not quite there yet, so if you want to help, you're
welcome :)
Anyway, since application modules don't always follow a convention (some
modules are single classes, some others huge packages, some others don't
have a conventional structure) I don't see anything like zfproject.xml
coming any-when soon.

I can ensure you that Zend Studio, being compatible with PHP 5.3 (probably
also 5.4), is already fully compatible with ZF2 :P
