Not at this time. The "tags" from subversion actually are more than simple tag snapshots; they include a dojo build, an export of the extras repository, and more. As such, they are around 30MB each to push to github, which is expensive both in terms of storage and network. (Pushing the four tags we have in the 1.12 series already took between 90 and 120 minutes!) Additionally, the tags inflate the repository a ton, which means that clones of just master end up taking longer. Since the tags have specific distribution files available already on packages.zendframework.com, it makes more sense to use that and not subversion or git. (For tags going forward, we will not follow the same tagging process, so they will be regular git tags, which will be simpler as well as smaller.) > On Fri, Apr 5, 2013 at 6:57 PM, Matthew Weier O'Phinney <[email protected]> > wrote: >> >> We have completed the transition from subversion to GitHub for Zend >> Framework 1. >> >> At this time: >> >> - The old http://framework.zend.com/svn/framework/standard and >> http://framework.zend.com/svn/framework/extras SVN URIs still work, >> but are marked READ-ONLY, and will not receive further updates. >> - https://github.com/zendframework/zf1 has been created, and the >> various README files have been updated to reflect the change in >> location and development processes. >> - https://github.com/zendframework/zf1-extras has been created >> - Issues reported since 1.12.0 was released and not yet resolved have >> been ported to https://github.com/zendframework/zf1/issues >> - JIRA has been marked read-only, and banners indicating the new >> locations for the ZF1 and ZF2 issue trackers have been placed. >> >> For more information on the migration, please see >> http://bit.ly/zf1-goes-git >> >> -- >> Matthew Weier O'Phinney >> Project Lead | [email protected] >> Zend Framework | http://framework.zend.com/ >> PGP key: http://framework.zend.com/zf-matthew-pgp-key.asc > > -- Matthew Weier O'Phinney Project Lead | [email protected] Zend Framework | http://framework.zend.com/ PGP key: http://framework.zend.com/zf-matthew-pgp-key.asc -- List: [email protected] Info: http://framework.zend.com/archives Unsubscribe: [email protected]
