Hi all,

After months of development, the first release candidate for fwknop-2.0
is ready for download:

http://www.cipherdyne.org/fwknop/download/fwknop-2.0.0rc1.tar.gz

MD5: 7ce5469d0699e759c1cd8337aedf9de0

Here is the gpg sig:

fwknop-2.0 is be a pure C implementation of SPA, and has several
nice features including:

- A library "libfko" that implements the heavy lifting for SPA packet
encoding/decoding and encryption/decription and can be used in any
other software under the terms of the GPL. libfko even runs on
Windows.
- Backwards compatibility withe the perl version. So, you can run
the fwknop-2.0 client against an fwknopd-1.9.12 server and vice
versa.
- Very lightweight server operations, and it is already running on
OpenWRT for example.

I wish to thank Damien Start for being the primary developer of this
code, and Franck Joncourt for creating the initial Debian packages.

One two more release candidates will be made before the offical 2.0
release.

All questions, comments, and suggestions welcome.
