Awesome! Nice leap, man. We're here to help! Out of curiosity, are you running Edgy Eft (Ubuntu 6.10)? Just so you know, Feisty Fawn (Ubuntu 7.04) is about to come out in about a week. Don't worry, though, you should be able to upgrade to Feisty either over the internet or with a Feisty CD through the update manager. Just stay away from third-party packages like Automatix or EasyUbuntu for now, they're notorious for breaking the upgrade path. Hope you're having a great day! Sim?n

Only this time with out any safety net. I had considered a dual boot, but for now, I'm just running linux (Ubuntu). So as any noob would do, the first thing is to customize my desktop. Then we'll worry about getting some good app's rolling, And see how long I can make it with out windows.
