I've yet to test it on other hardware since all my other PCs are older with USB 1.x. I'm assuming in theory it might work. I've yet to use Ubuntu, but it sounds like Ubuntu might only do hardware recognition at installation and not at subsequent boots? Can anyone offer any insight to this?
A few years ago, I moved a hard drive from a hard drive with a Suse install from a Dell GX1 to a GX110 with no issues b/c it did all the hardware recognition at boot. -Dutch On 4/20/07, Simón Ruiz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I'd be interested to know how well this works with wildly different > hardware configurations.
