Dammit Doctor, I'm just a Jim! Despite having reset my clock both in bios and Linux many times, I guess I am just going to have to break down and buy a new battery for my mobo. It is only 6 years old, or so. I guess it must be getting weak. If, after replacing that, my time travels continue, well, I am not sure what to do next, except to continue to confuse by posting with invalid times and dates.
